- The Association will be a sister association alongside the AAEP, and will be its own separate non-profit corporation. Membership in the AAEVT is open to all technicians in the United States and Canada, regardless of licensure or certification, as well as to students in veterinary technician schools. We will be also looking at creating an international membership, Specialty credentialing, and an Equine Veterinary Technician Academy.
