has been making various handmade soaps since 1985. In the beginning, Abby rendered beef tallow to make soap in the same way as the early pioneers. As her soapy hobby developed, she made Glycerin, Basic White, Oatmeal, Milk & Honey, and Castile (100% Olive Oil) soaps and gave them as gifts to friends and relatives. In 2003, Abigail decided to turn her hobby into a business, concentrating on her favorite, Castile soap.
