- The name Yoga Village was chosen because the idea of a village says community. It is an acknowledgement that as human beings our lives are woven together by the common threads of our Divine heritage. A village is a place where people grow together to create a beautiful fabric that forms the kula (Sanskrit for “heart community”) of our lives. The Village kula is place of transformation where people lift each other up to discover their own greatness honoring the unique beauty and talent of each person. Each villager becomes a beautiful brightly colored thread in the Village tapestry.
