Connecting Athletes with Community Charities
Founded by numerous well-known and accomplished sports figures, including Andre Agassi and Mia Hamm, Athletes for Hope aims to make the world a better place through its philanthropic endeavors. Athletes for Hope provides opportunities for athletes to get involved with charities across the country, and helps them to inspire a new generation to give back to those in need.
Since its founding in 2007, Athletes for Hope has significantly increased both its size and scope. Today, over 2,000 athletes from many different athletic disciplines and sports leagues participate in community volunteer efforts through Athletes for Hope.
Athletes for Hope connects athletes with individual charities where they can contribute and provide support to the individual charities’ missions. The organization’s Causeway program connects with teams and individual athletes to help them make a difference in local communities and develop a plan of action for their future philanthropic endeavors.
