In 1995, the Internet was born. Although it was available long before to a small number of people, twelve years ago it became readily available to millions. One year later, in 1996, BabyZone.com came into the world. As always, the story of the company's inception is a personal one.
Jeanine Cox, the former publisher and co-founder of BabyZone.com, was an art gallery owner living in South Florida. When she became pregnant, she looked for answers on the Internet to all the questions a first-time parent has.
There was virtually no useful, organized information that was quickly and easily accessible. So Jeanine did what all successful entrepreneurs do: She built it herself. She reasoned that if she needed comprehensive, easy-to-use parenting information, so did millions of expectant and new parents, too.
