- I started making hand poured candles back in 2000, to give as gifts for family and friends. I became so interested in the different types of candles available, that my research lead me into creating my own formula’s and eventually starting a business. I love candles, but that’s not why I make them. I make candles because I enjoy the process of creating them. I love to see how the creamy, paraffin wax can be taken from it’s solid form, melted into a liquid and blended with color, fragrance and hardeners, to create a re-formed beautiful piece of art.
