Bud Parr and this is my personal blog, which I've devoted to writing about books and maybe a bit about music or other things. Most people don't like the books and music that I like and they mostly think I'm a pretentious snob (a nice pretentious snob). Those people also wonder about the piles of books laying about my house. People who come to this site seem to understand what this is about. I'm at home here, odd as that sounds.
For a long time, I worked on Wall Street. Now I wear sandals to work. I build and publish Websites for a living that mostly have to do with blogs or use blogs as their backbone. Everyone should have one.
I have my own company, called Sonnet Media. I work more hours than when I worked in finance. It's still good.
