Description

Different Spokes was founded in 1983 to promote cycling activities among members and friends of the gay and lesbian communities in Southern California. We offer a wide variety of road and mountain bike rides, ranging from easy to advanced, throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Every weekend, Different Spokes has one or two rides or events going on somewhere in Southern California. We also have social events and weekend trips. Join us on a ride soon!

Club rides and events are generally open to all members and non-member guests. Club membership gains you a subscription to our monthly newsletter, which keeps you informed on all upcoming club activities. In addition, club events and weekend trips often have a slightly higher price for non-members. Club members also may get discounts at certain bike shops and travel agents.

Club membership costs $12 per year for individuals (and $1 each for every additional person at the same address). What a bargain! To join up, use the online form. Different Spokes short-sleeve jerseys, long-sleeve jerseys and jackets are available. To buy, contact a club officer.
