Direct Relief International

Our mission is to improve the health of people living in developing countries and those who are victims of natural disasters, war, and civil unrest. We work to strengthen indigenous health efforts of our international partners by providing essential material resources – medicines, supplies and equipment.
Direct Relief International was established in 1948 and is non-sectarian, non-governmental, and apolitical. All our programs are provided in a non-discriminatory manner, without regard to political affiliation, religious belief, or ethnic identity.
. Our staff is comprised of 32 full-time and 5 part-time employees, and is supported by more than 400 volunteers who assist in all functions.
