The Rector of Uludag University of the Turkish Republic gave a conference on "European University Association institutional evaluation process and the Uludag University Model" at Eastern Mediterranean University.

Eastern Mediterranean University 2005-2006 Academic Year Fall Term Convocation Ceremony took place on February 13th, 2006 at the Lala Mustafa Pasa Sports Complex. EMU lived the joy and pride of this occasion with the 967 new graduates and their families
