EndoGyn-Endoscopic Gynecology Centers

lapro.jpg

EndoGyn - Endoscopic Gynecology Centers develops new techniques for minimal invasive surgery, like gasless lift-laparoscopy for the laparoscopic treatment of diseases of the uterus and adnexa. These surgeries are performed using endoscopy to leave minimal scars and tissue damage to the body.

This is a laparoscopic technique avoiding insufflation of carbon dioxide to expand the abdomen with successful results for adhesions, endometriosis, fibroids, adnexal masses and hysterectomy.

"The main purpose of our website is to provide information, on how a laparotomy (abdominal incision) could be mostly excluded in laparoscopic surgery for benign diseases with the technique of Lift-Laparoscopy" says Dr. Daniel Kruschinski, Head at EndoGyn Ltd.

Gasless Lift - Laparoscopy

Laparoscopic procedures are difficult and risky to do with long instruments. Therefore only 10 % of the surgeons are performing laparoscopic surgery worldwide.

EndoGyn does not use such long instruments during their surgeries. They use only instruments in their gasless Lift procedures which allow a tactile sense in order to minimize the risks. Advantages of using this method for is that by dispensing with insufflation of carbon dioxide, there is less pain incurred during the recovery afterwards. The shoulder pains which are generally present after endoscopic procedures are avoided or greatly reduced and the patient needs less pain killers compared to laparoscopy with gas. The recovery period is shorter, with the patient returning to normal activity much quicker than when laparoscopy is performed with gas. In short the operation is safer and less time consuming with quicker recovery time.
