The EquiStrip™ system was originally designed by Jay Adkisson, an experienced commercial litigator and the author of the best-selling asset protection book, "Asset Protection: Concepts and Strategies", who first devised the EquiStrip™ system in 1995 for the use of his business clients. While for many years the EquiStrip™ system was kept private, the growth of similar but seriously defective commercial alternatives convinced Jay to make the system available to the general public.
The current design of the EquiStrip™ system was the result of recent modifications by Jay's father, Ron Adkisson, a life insurance agent and the author of the book "Financing Accounts Receivable for Retirement and Asset Protection", who helped to select the most efficient annuity and life insurance products to facilitate the EquiStrip™ system.
The EquiStrip™ system is implemented by licensed tax attorneys who are familiar with the system and seek to implement it within a client's overall business, tax, asset protection, and estate planning structure, so that it is efficiently implemented and compliments the client's other planning and needs, and does not stand out as a one-off type of transaction as other programs are unfortunately implemented.
