Radiohead - New Tracks Reviewed

Check out a review of all of the new Radiohead tracks from Stylus Magazine. The new album which is rumored to be titled "Pablo Honey 2 : The Electric Boogaloo" should be out by XXXmas.

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the 7th Annual San Francisco Electronic Music Festival. The Saturday performance by Semiconductor was at the Recombinant Media Lab. The lab itself is a crazy place. If you click on the link for it, you can see the room where about 40 of us sat down on the carpeted floor and experienced 8 speakers above and 8 speakers below with screens on all 4 walls to truly experience a surround sound organ jarring experience. From the program, "artists Ruth Jarman and Joseph Gerhardt make films out of sound using abstract lansdscapes and architecture as a means to describe aural and visual interpretations fo the world." They've worked with Múm which I've included the track below as well as DAT Politics, qqq and other forward thinking electronic musicians.

The second track is taken from AGF who was featured in the last issue of The Wire which is the best magazine/publications on truly progressive music. They feature artists who challenge through whatever aural medium they choose to make you rethink the concept of sound and music. Modyfier has a number of links of the Zavoloka & AGF collaboration and it's some of the most interesting dynamic music I've heard in quite awhile. The AGF track below is from 2002's Clicks & Cuts 3 compilation.
