About Us… These two words actually say it all about FourteenerWorld. FourteenerWorld is not about me or any one person. It’s not a personal site , or a collection of one persons pictures, reports, etc. Although I'm proud to be a part of FourteenerWorld and a contributor, actually I’m just the guy who organize s the group's information and provide s the place for us to gather. I'm the webmaster.
FourteenerWorld is about its members , and the quality of our membership is what distinguishes FourteenerWorld and gives it its value . The value is in the friendly, knowledgeable people who gather here to communicate and exchange information . Some of us seek information, others are happy to share information in the form of conversation, pictures, trip reports, advice, news, trailhead or other information.
Included in our membership are some of the finest mountaineers , climbers, hikers, peak-baggers, high-pointers, hill-walkers, & trailrunners in the world. W e are proud to have famous guidebook authors, celebrities, and other legends in Colorado mountain climbing history. Some of our members have climbed the hardest mountains in Colorado (Lizard Head, Twin Peaks, Turret Ridge , etc). Others have climbed the highest mountains around the World (Everest, Acconcouga, Denali, Elbrus, etc). Whereas most of the FourteenerWorld members are currently working on the fourteeners, dozens of our members have finished them. Some have finished the Highest Hundred . Some have climbed all of Colorado's 13ers, and a couple have even climbed all the Colorado 12ers.
