Description
My name is Todd Walker and I live in New York City with my wife and newborn son. For paying the bills, I'm an executive producer at a fast-growing interactive marketing shop here in the city. I earned my BA in English from Colorado College in 1994 and my MBA in Marketing and Management from New York University Stern School of Business in 2004.
Aside from my own amateur photography, years of classroom doodles and a short stint in the comics biz, I am wholly unqualified to make grand pronouncements about art in general or photography in particular. And yet, through the magic of the Internet, no one can stop me from doing so. I started this blog because I didn't see any other sites covering the world of fine art photography, specifically with a view towards actually getting out of the house and experiencing the art up close.
Feel free to send me press releases, invites to openings, links to interesting sites. I'm mostly focused on what's showing here in NYC, so please keep that in mind if you're sending me info about something in another burg. (I may branch out to make city-specific versions of GH in the future. Stay tuned.) I generally don't respond to requests for links or to exchange links. And if you're a photographer, I'm really not qualified to comment on your portfolio, even if I'm doing a good job of faking just that on this site. Having said that, send me email at .
