- About Me
- Well, what is there to say… my name is Simone, I’m in my late 20s, bibliophile, anglophile, slightly saturnine, a tad bit excentric (not to say “dotty”) but mostly quiescent. I’m an optimistic pessimist. Some would say that makes me bipolar. I just think it makes me a little unnerving. I was born and raised in a small town in the South-East of Germany (pretty much near the Czech border)… and that’s where I still live today. I gradutated the economy branch of our local high school 1993 to start an apprentice-ship as an industrial clerk, working for one of the largest companies here in the area…. and that’s where I am still working today. So you see, there’s at least two things I’m very consistent about in life. Home and Job. The rest is well ordered chaos. ;) Anyway, one thing that I’m still craving for is respect based on the fact of who I really am more than what I represent to be… though that seems almost impossible even to myself some days. ;) I can’t claim at 29 I’m feeling like a fully “grown” persona. And I do wish I had more certainty about where I am and where I am going to - figuratively speaking, mind you.
