About the GREdic Word List

This GRE word list was compiled while the author was preparing for the GRE. The main sources used (listed under references) seemed to be the most complete that could be found online at the time. The work on editing the huge list that resulted when these sources were combined turned out to be more than initially anticipated: hundreds-if not thousands-of hours were spent on deleting repetitions, adding Webster's definitions when those given were not clear enough, polishing the entries and putting them into a unified form.
