- About Me
- My name is Sean and I’m a 32 year old Web Developer and Outdoor enthusiast, and I have lived in the northern Catskill Mountains almost my entire life. Finding myself in the woods at an early age, and having my childhood home bordering State land on 2 sides, I found myself having plenty of outdoor adventures early on. By the time I graduated High School I had most of the Lexington trails (Spruceton trails to Hunter Mountain, Bearpen and Halcott Mountains) which were all less then 5 miles from my house explored in depth and counted as home territory. I had also begun enjoying Kaaterskill Falls and the many trails surrounding North-South Lakes in Haines Falls as well as the Stony Clove/Lanesville and Platte Clove areas. My friends and I started to take Hiking and climbing more seriously and we set out and conquered the Escarpment trail, Devil’s Path, and many more local trails. We were just a couple of kids all by ourselves in the woods exploring because we loved it.
