- The Geekery was started back in the year 2000, just after the "dot com" boom had ended. We initially started with just a few pages, and only two authors. As time progressed, more pages were added, and more people began to actually start reading the site on a daily basis. With the increase in pages, as well as in increase for demand, more writers were added to The Geekery staff, which now includes the following members:
