- The history (where JRW came from): JRW stands for my late father's initials. He was an avid fisherman who grew up in Pennsylvania and spent a great deal of time in Florida as well. My father dedicated his life to fishing, specializing in ultralight trout fishing. His accredited fish also included NY state salmon and steelhead, and a variety of game fish in Florida, both fresh and saltwater. Throughout my father's life, he came up with some very simple and practical means to make his fishing experience easier and more enjoyable. He even developed some proprietary fishing gear. He shared these ideas with very few people and that's where we come in. Not only did my father teach us how to fish, he showed us his fishing secrets as well.
