Matrix Massage was created in the fall of 2001 with the goal of bringing the highest quality of holistic health care to clients in the Northern Virginia area. Our 1200-square foot facility was designed to provide the utmost in comfort and convenience to our clients and therapists. The clinic contains three treatment rooms and a fourth larger room designed to accommodate classes, seminars, and couples massage.
Nicole has been a dancer for over 25 years, and her love of dance and the human body led her to Massage Therapy. Her desire is to complement her dance career and bring relief not only to dancers and athletes, but to all individuals. Nicole is a graduate of the Virginia School and Technology, and she specializes in pain relief and stress reduction. She feels that basic relaxation of the entire body is key for effective pain relief.
Ivone is a graduate of AKS Massage School and has been practicing massage therapy at spas and clinics in Virginia and Maryland for the past three years. Her real interest in massage started with a positive experience during her first pregnancy. A massage therapist at the prenatal clinic in Brazil gave Ivone a massage just before the birth of her son, which relaxed her so much that she had a smooth and wonderful delivery. After that, she took classes in Shantala, an Indian technique for infant massage. After moving to the U.S., she got the opportunity to work as a massage therapist herself. Ivone believes strongly in the therapeutic value of massage to a client's physical and spiritual well-being.
