Maryland Apple Corps

Description

Who Are We?

The Maryland Apple Corps, founded in 1978, is one of the oldest Apple/Macintosh User Groups. Our members come from Baltimore City, Baltimore County and the surrounding area. Our modest dues cover printing meeting notices, renting our meeting facility, maintaining a web presence, purchasing raffle and door prizes and supplies, as well as other miscellaneous items. We are a volunteer organization, helping each other to better understand and use Macintosh computers. Learn more about us. Join today. See our Picture Gallery. Read about our June 1, 2003 MD25MD Dinner celebrating 25 years of the Maryland Apple Corps, featuring Steve Wozniak, Apple cofounder, as our guest speaker.

Our Meetings

Meetings are usually held the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the Meeting Room of the Baltimore County Library in Towson, Maryland. See directions below. We start with a question and answer session at 6:30 pm, and start the regular meeting at 7:00 pm. Meetings last until about 8:45 pm.

We have guest speakers from major hardware and software companies. Past speakers have included representatives from Apple, Adobe, Microsoft, and O'Reilly. We also have presentations of new software and how-to demonstrations by members and vendors using the club's color projection system.
