Pattern Finders: Discontinued China, Stemware and Sterling Silver. Replacement and matching service.

Description

PATTERN FINDERS was founded in December 1979 by Stacy Davidson. She realized the need for a specialized CHINA, STEMWARE and SILVER matching company when she was a Junior Executive with R.H. Macy’s. Unable to assist customers in search of replacements for broken, or incomplete cherished patterns that were no longer in production she started PATTERN FINDERS . Her vast retail experience, along with her degree in Retail Management gave her the expertise to begin this venture. Starting as a home based business, Stacy was able to be on hand for her two children. As they grew, so did her business, into the corporation it is today, PATTERN FINDERS LTD. Her store at 128 East Main Street in the quaint village of Port Jefferson (11777) on Long Island is a Mecca of lovely items. Stacy’s love of antiques items, and beautiful things, is apparent in the beautiful blend of dinnerware, stemware and sterling items on display. Having been in business over TWENTY YEARS, PATTERN FINDERS has developed an excellent reputation for honesty and service. People come to the company from all over the country and some from all over the world seeking replacement items for their cherished discontinued patterns. Due to PATTERN FINDERS excellent reputation for honesty and service, the company is recommended by customers, major retailers and manufactures as well as auction galleries. For example a customer can get her card from Bloomingdales in New York or Harrods in London.

In order to acquire these patterns, some dating back to the mid 1800’s, the company covers many avenues. Inventory is constantly replenished by purchasing from private individuals, private shops, manufacturers directly, major warehouses, and at auctions. Pattern Finders buyers love to purchase entire store contents since all items are new. Recently, a large retail store’s entire inventory was purchased. This greatly enhanced the company holdings of fine and everyday dinnerware. In this case, the stock was from the early 1980’s to present. At present we are in negotiations with a store whose basement is totally filled with sets and place settings of Lenox, Royal Doulton and Noritake patterns.
