My name is Hartley B. Singer, but you can call me HART . I am known everywhere online as “PapillonLvr” .. because I have two Papillon dogs (not because I like butterflies or the Steve McQueen movie). I had registered the website www.PapillonLvr.com and put up pictures of our dogs. In the Summer of 2004, I had noticed that my dog site was outperforming my other sites in visitors and views. I created an online store and decided to sell pet related merchandise, and non-pet related merchandise – but it didn’t too well for many reasons.
On May 15, 2005 I consolidated all of my websites and domain names under one PetLvr.com mega domain name. The decision was based on moving the focus away from my “Papillon” website to a general “Pet” website so that I can appeal to a wider range of audience. It was also cheaper having one large website with much space and features than a bunch of little ones.
