- Palmerston North City Neighbourhood Support Groups Inc. commenced operations in 1984 and was incorporated in 1994. After many years of operation from the Policing Centre in Pitama Road, when the new Central Police Station was opened in November 2005 we moved into the new building together with other Community Groups.In March 1997, we co-signed a letter of agreement with Palmerston North Police which guaranteed Police support of our objectives in attempting to achieve our Mission Statement. In October 2007 we co-signed a memorandum of understanding with the head of Civil Defence and Emergency Management of the Palmerston North City Council which formalised an already very active partnership between the two parties.
