- （本報訊） 香港兒童交響樂團將於 8 月 13 日在卡加瑪士（ Clackamas ）區的 New Hope 教會演出一場， 46 位 7 至 16 歲的樂團成員將會為波特蘭地區的觀眾獻上名曲多首。自宣傳以來，觀眾反應熱烈，特別是一些家中有兒童學習樂器的家庭，更認定這為一個鼓勵兒女學習音樂的難得機會，多個家庭更願意打開家門招待樂團的成員，為他們提供一晚的住宿，本報特別多謝各位。本地著名的波特蘭青年交響樂團亦大力支持，提供樂器予音樂會外，而大都會青年交響樂團更改排練時間，讓每一位團員都能欣賞這隊國際有名的樂團演出。
