Ranch Cardoso is a family venture that began 20 years ago as a hobby. We specialize in the Art of Bloodless Bullfights and Bullfighting horses in California.... Portuguese Style!.
Featuring videos and images of Cavaleiros such as Vitor Ribeiro, Vasco Taborda, Jr., Patricia Pellen, and Antonio Ribeiro Telles (just to name a few), Forcados, Matadors, Ganadarias, Candido Costa, our beautiful bullfighting horses, and many more.
We also have a forum where you can blog, create stories to share, as well as read the latest breaking news, sports, worldwide events, as well as a knowledge base section.
Our other specialties include breeding, training, import/export, and sales. We strive to find the perfect breed for bullfighting horses. There have been several that has graced the presence in the Lusitano world. Such sub-breeds include the Andrade, Veiga, Coudelaria Nacional, and Coimbra. Nowadays, the fighting bulls have become bigger and quicker where the strength, speed, and agility of the horse needs to be enhanced. To date, common breeds used are Lusitanos, Andalusians, Arabians, Quarter Horses, Aztecas, and Thoroughbreds. Some have been crossed, such as Lusitano x Quarter Horse is an Azteca.
We have lots to offer, but mostly, we are here to increase the awareness of this beautiful art as well as our heritage, culture, and people.
