The idea for The Santa Barbara Wellness Directory was born over several years in the late '90s, and launched as a website in early 2003, around the same time as we started our web design business.

We have so many friends that are massage therapists, acupuncturists, environmentalists, Yogis, Musicians, Artists, etc. and needed a web presence (and income), so we thought "why not put everyone in one place"? Immediately we knew that this was a viable entity and have continued to grow since.

Now, with over 200 Members, we have grown to include www.LosAngelesWellnessDirectory.com, and are launching similar sites throughout the US and Canada.

In 2007 we launched [www.NationalCorporateWellness.com] - to take this concept to employers and decision makers, who had the power to implement corporate wellness programs for their employees.
