Peachland, North Carolina. Peachland is located in the rolling hills of Piedmont Region of North Carolina, approximately an hour's driving time from both Charlotte and Rockingham.
My husband and I relocated to Peachland from Connecticut in May 2003. This was not an easy journey, but we made the trip, the two of us and in tow was our two white labs, and our cat. That 100 hour long (don't ask) trip and experience was well worth the adventure and memories. Oh, our horses, well they had it much easier; they were being transported separately in comfort.
I've always had a love for animals even as a child, especially horses. I had my very first horse, a gelding when I was 12 years old. . He certainly taught me a lot, especially what to do and what not to do! Now here we are again, 35 years later, and I still have the love for horses and have the opportunity to make something of it.. This was our new beginning.
