Slam News Service: Poetry at the Cantab Lounge
Description
There is poetry at the Cantab Lounge every Wednesday night, year-round. Our hosts are Ryk McIntyre, J*me, Dawn Gabriel, and SlamMaster Simone Beaubien. Cover charge is $3.00 (unless otherwise noted on our schedule).
Open mic for all begins at 8:00 p.m. You may arrive earlier to sign up. Poems may be on any subject, and you may read more than one, but we ask that you keep your time on the mic to three minutes.
The slam follows the feature. Most slams are open to the first eight who sign up; however, on some nights, we have semi-finals or finals in our slam series. Click here for slam details.
