SuperVamps.com
Title
Super Vamps
Fetish models & photography.
Description
The site is now called SuperVamps (or SuperVamp) and can be reached either at http://www.supervamps.com or at http://www.supervamp.com
The owner is apparently undecided on which version of the name to use as main entrance, the plural or the singular. The singular currently redirects to the plural. But it could be the other way around as well in the future, since domains in the singular form are more valuable in the domain aftermarket, and perhaps it makes more sense to popularize the singular version of it.
The former domain, supertramps.com was listed for sale on Sedo but was SOLD during january 2007.
Still for sale are the .net and .org tlds:

The main reason for the domain change -according to our sources- was that, while "tramp" sounds good in spanish (it basically means "flirt" in Argentina, where the site is based), the term has a negative connotation in english, and as we all know that's bad from a marketing perspective. Except of course, if you are in the tramp shipping business, in the trampoline business, or in the tramping business in New Zealand, in which cases the domain fits like a glove and you should buy it asap.
"Vamp", on the other hand, brings to mind more alluring images of mysterious femmes fatales (e.g. the ultimate one: Lauren Bacall) and is more appropriate to what appears to be the site's direction in the aesthetics department.

There's another big advantage in today's interconnected world: it's easy to pronounce, it's spelt the same way, and has the same basic meaning in all major world languages. And the same can be said about "super" which is a universal adjective for things "of superior/higher/highest quality, above/over/beyond the rest, excellent, first-rate".
The term "supervamp" was also used in the 2002 Hollywood movie "Blade II" to describe a special breed of vamps that prey not just on humans but also on other -lesser- vamps. The super vamps in the movie, however, were extremely ugly.

Speaking of Hollywood and show business, "Supervamp/s" would make a spectacular name for a film noir in the best classic tradition or a neo-noir, a sci-fi action flick (think X-Men, Blade, Underworld, Matrix, Aeon Flux, even the Bond franchise, etc), an eletronic (trance/psytrance) music band, a worldwide model/talent/management agency, or a sophisticated brand of fetish clothing (latex catsuits!).
The owner is aware of the many possibilities since day 1, and is receptive to partnership opportunities -particularly with upscale fetish clothing manufacturers- or (why not, being the speculator he is) buyout offers, but only if in the 6-digit range. Powerful, memorable, sexy names like this one, where you can own ALL major TLDs (com/net/org), both in singular and plural forms, are very rare (hence valuable) nowadays.
