Description
Michael Stephens (BA, Indiana University, 1987; MLS, Indiana University,1995) will be an Instructor in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Dominican University starting in August 2006. He is the former Special Projects Librarian at the St. Joseph County Public Library in South Bend, IN. He resides in Mishawaka, IN and spends as much of the summer as possible in Traverse City, Michigan.
At SJCPL, he assisted in the creation of SJCPL's staff and public training program, the Long Range Plan, Technology Plan, managed networked resources, chaired the library's Web site redesign committee 2000-2004 and worked on technology related projects for the library.
In 2001, he published The Library Internet Trainer's Toolkit --a series of technology training modules in CD-ROM with Neal-Schuman Inc in and in the U.K. with the British library Association in 2002.
