Nothing. Well, not exactly. When the company was founded in 1994, we were known as Northeast Exotic Pet Supply. Throughout the years and through the diversification of the company, we changed our name to that funny word - Neeps.
Our name is unique as our businesses. We were one of the very first companies to launch a fully functional pet supply e-commerce website in 1994, long before many of our competitors and way before the dot-com bust of the late 90's. Today, we operate 13 on-line retail pet supply companies, one wholesale pet division serving the pet industry and a Yahoo Store website design and consulting firm named Solid Cactus.
