After the passing away of our 18 year old cat Willy, our family decided to bring a puppy into our lives. Our new family addition, Sophie, proved to be quite different in the joys and responsibilities of pet ownership. Besides the love and affection a new puppy can add, we soon realized that Sophie could understand many of the words we use
This became quite apparent when she would hear us say the words "go" or "ride". We would all think it was cute when she would be the first one ready to go for a ride by fetching her leash and halter and presenting them to us for the trip.Our joy would soon change to sadness and guilt when we would say "no" or "stay". Her sad expressions pulled at our heartstrings for the rest of the day.
One day while viewing family videos we saw Sophie react and watch herself and her dog friends on the TV. After an internet search for dog entertainment movies came up empty, I started filming and testing with many dogs to see what sounds and sights dogs are universally attracted to. A year of filming throughout California provided the DVD that is now called THE MOVIE FOR DOGS. THE MOVIE FOR DOGS was released October, 2004 and is shipped to dog owners world wide.
