Description

A bit more than a weblog, yet not quite a magazine - some call it eclectic, others call it an identity crisis. Whatever you call it, thoughtcategorisation is tricky.

Thoughtcat.com started life in 2003 as a sort of weblog/arts magazine hybrid before becoming solely a blog supplemented by the occasional longer article or review. Examples of the latter range from a detailed account of a Leonard Cohen tribute concert in Brighton (to which one of Cohen's backing singers later responded favourably) to an interview with Charles Webb, the author of The Graduate.

In summer 2006 Stephen Miles's Sankey Awards memoir All My Own Work was published under the Thoughtcat imprint.
