Robert B. He is one of the founders and began his career in the purchasing and marketing of quality used office furnishings in San Jose California in early 1980. Mr. Hicks (aka Bj), and his military gained experience and organizational skills has been beneficial in the outstanding success of the company. Tigetek Associated Incorporated began its existence in Reno Nevada in 1993, after Mr. Hicks had gained years of experience as Bj's Systems Furniture. The restrictions of a small local used office furniture company, and the introduction of a young lady with extensive expertise in Finance, led to the birth of Tigetek Associates Incorporated. Jill (Mangini) Hicks brought her extensive knowledge of financial affairs to Tigetek Associates Incorporated as the Secretary and Controller for Tigetek Associates,Inc. and 2nd Avenue Interiors. Jill and Bj learned that they were destined to be more than business partners and married in 1998 and have two beautiful daughters. She assumed the duties of Controller while Mr. Hicks assumed the position of President for Tigetek Associates Incorporated as well as President of 2nd Avenue Interiors and guides its day to day operations. Mrs. Hicks' addition to the organization allowed Mr. Hicks to actively direct the operation of 2nd Avenue Interiors which is the Office Furniture arm of the Corporation. In the position of President, he is responsible for the day to day operations of the company, which encompass Sales, and Services, while all financial support is provided by the corporation. Mrs. Hicks as the Controller has successfully directed the Corporation to a stable financial existence. Her innovative ideas and unceasing drive has been instrumental in elevating the Corporation and 2nd Avenue Interiors to one of the most recognized and successful liquidation companies in the Used Office Furniture Industry. Located in Citrus Heights, California and capable of servicing the world.
