TolMol.com is an online Indian shopping price comparison tool
TolMol offers price comparison service for India market. It was officially launched on May 09, 2007 by young entrepreneurs Ramna Sharma and Anuj Kanish who co-founded Avake Technology Inc., a Sacramento (CA) based technology company.
TolMol is India's first local comparison shopping service that connects local sellers to online shoppers. India retail and travel markets are growing rapidly. TolMol covers all key product categories including electronics, mobiles, autos, books. One can compare prices from both local and online sellers. Additionally, it allows users to compare airfare vs. trainfare.
Vertical Search is an emerging market with several new startups in this space both in US and in other countries. Other major comparison shopping engines include: Kelkoo (UK), Shopzilla (US).
