Hans Rot

Hello everybody, and welcome to my cozy corner in the AboutUs community!

To kick things off, allow me to introduce myself. My full name is Hans-Peter Rot (Yes, I have a hyphenated first name; crazy, huh?), and I currently live in Oregon. Before taking residence here in March 2008 I lived in New Mexico for a few years, studying in the anthropology graduate program at New Mexico State University. Before that, I lived in my home state of Virginia.

While in New Mexico, I started doing work in the web editing and writing field to supplement my other various jobs as a graphic designer/museum assistant, mail order clerk, and farm intern (all at different times, of course!). This interest in writing took on a whole new spin when I was introduced to the concept of wiki.

Within the wiki community, I've been writing articles, editing, reading the forums, and various other activities, which eventually landed me on the doorstep of AboutUs. Ever since I've arrived here, I've had a lot of fun writing articles and being part of an interactive community.
