Hi DavidCary, Welcome to AboutUs!

I'm thrilled that you have chosen to explore the wonderful world of wiki here at AboutUs. If you need any information/assistance, please have a look at the help page or drop me a line. Every Day is a Gift. Mike Milton

When I use the AboutUs search bar to look for "www.halfbakery.com", I expected the AboutUs machine to automagically build an article.

However, instead I get the message "Building an article for halfbakery.com... Unable to create page. ... Are you sure this is a valid domain?"

Yes, http://www.halfbakery.com/ looks valid to me. Is this a bug in the AboutUs machine? Is there a better place to report such bugs? --DavidCary 07:34, 5 September 2008 (PDT)

David, here is fine. Here's what I do when I read something like this. I link to the page: HalfBakery.com (no www). And I see that the page does exist. This is a bug, of course, in that it told you that it was unsuccessful, but the page actually exists, so it's kind of a moot point. We will be re-vamping the bot relatively soon, which I think will have to do. Sorry about this. TedErnst (talk) 09:07, 5 September 2008 (PDT)

hi

Hi David, sorry so slow to respond, saw that Ted did one one, anyway - we don't have a well organized system of reporting bugs, unfortunately. If you see a way here, please BeBold. Best, MarkDilley
