Maps issue

If you click on any of the sub-pages in VancouverTech with maps, you'll see that many of the maps aren't centering correctly on Vancouver. This is due to the way the map tool was created, initially for PortlandTech. A fix is forthcoming from the AboutUs development team. In the meantime, use the navigation on the GoogleMap to zoom out a few clicks and scroll over to the region you're looking for.

Help us build a great calendar resource

We're continuing to build this resource and portal frame work out, but can use your help! In addition to leaving news items on the What's Happening page, you can contribute by building a great calendar of technology events in Vancouver. Just click on a date, if the link is red a template will automatically open to get you started for that date.

Additionally, if your group, company or organization has regular technology events or meetings, add it to the VancouverTech Monthly Meetings page.

The VancouverTech "What's Happening" news item is an opportunity for the community to share news related to the technology industry in Vancouver, British Columbia. This news stream is also for use as a way of communicating updates and news related to the VancouverTech portal itself.
