What is InfluenceUs?

The InfluenceUs wizard provides highly motivated visitors to our site with a fun, easy, and effective way of engaging and influencing the organization they are delighted or frustrated with.

Why this is important?

Engagement: Makes a clear call to action for motivated visitors.
BeABuilder: Encourages the kind of constructive collaboration we want where all involved parties benefit.
ValuableContent: Creates public conversations that deeply inform future visitors about how organizations relate with those they touch.
ViralSpiral: The influenced become influencers the next time they are frustrated with an organization.

Steps for this task:

Review InfluenceUs Log on a daily basis

  • Make it a habit to go through the InflucenceUsLog and review the days edits weeding out all nonconstructive edits,
  • Contact the organization whose page has been influenced(?)
  • Review refactoring to make the comments constructive(?)

Organize the process and see how effective this is

  • See trends in comments
  • Incorporate InfluenceUs into site messaging
    • For instance, by using it in the badge pop up
    • Writing a blog post about it
    • Encourage transition from writing community reviews to using InfluenceUs
  • Analyze InfluenceUs stats and maintain metrics
  • Make page for What if you have been Influenced
  • Write definitions and make pretty the page for various terms used in this process. such as Delighted, frustrated etc
