- Tonight I'm sad, for Fidus Achates had his heart broken today. FA had a wonderful young cat - "the most beautiful cat ever" - that had such a wonderful personality and was like no other cat he'd ever cared for. Today he took Cootie to the vet for rabies and distemper vaccinations. Cootie had a severe allergic reaction and died. FA called me and I rushed to the vet to be with him. Two friends and his sponsor came to the house to be with him. We all went to a meeting, where other people were able to be with him.
