Brick threw glass is a Movie review website hosted by film critic Matt Willey. Brick threw glass is a metaphor I made up for film, the BRICK is the anamorphic shot blocking, and GLASS is the camera lens , the word THREW is a play on words, should have been thru but, I used the words THREW. This website reviews and critics films in a different way,using humor it also tries to interject some of my technical knowledge of how films are created and made into the process.This all started with a bag, yes I purchased a computer bag to hold my laptop, and this web site began .I was just going to use it to carry my laptop, but that night I had a dream, a dream of something allot larger than what I had intended. That night I had a dream that I was reviewing movies and I was adding my own unique spin to the subject that everyone and I mean everyone has an opinion on.I am as uniquely unqualified to do this as I was to make my surf videos in the 1990’s. My sense of humor and my ill fated career as an actor and editor and musician, make me jaded and insecure enough to be a flashlight in a sea of dark mediocrity…As the movie award season starts, I’ve made it a quest to see as many films as I could… and watch them as if I was going to have to talk about them with something intelligent to interject into every conversation..Oh did I bother to tell you I live in Hollywood…
