Background on PaddockTalk LLC:
PaddockTalk was started by Mike Sulka (Founder/Senior Editor) on January 1st, 2004. The original site was primarily Champ Car oriented. In the middle of 2004, the site expanded to include two additional open-wheel series. Formula One and IRL editions were established. The response was very positive, so in January of 2005, more editions were added. A1GP, Sports Cars, Rally Competition, and NASCAR are all now covered by PaddockTalk.com.
In December of 2005, PaddockTalk.com added the concept of Extras! Futbol Extra! was the first Extra! added. Auto News Extra! was added in January, 2006.
Also in January 2006, PTalkPhoto.com was added to feature the professional work of the PaddockTalk photography team. This season, the team has already covered a wide array of events including: A1 GP, ALMS, Champ Car, IRL IndyCar, Grand-Am, NASCAR, the Atlantic series, and more. Since inception just six months ago, over 100,000 visitors have successfully viewed nearly 700,000 pages. The ever expanding database of 100% original images continues to rapidly grow. As of September 1st, it contains over 5500 photos.
In addition to that success, our flagship site continues to grow as a respected source for racing & futbol news, and has grown far beyond our expectations. Last year PaddockTalk.com alone hosted nearly 1.2 million visits, nearly 30 million hits, and published over 14,000 articles (about 38 each day). Our 2006 first and second quarter results indicate PaddockTalk.com will more than double those results this year. PaddockTalk.com reaches over 180 nations around the world.
