Founded in January, 2004, the Iowa Secularists is a nonprofit organization committed to creating a community of religion-free Iowans, educating the public on living without religion and keeping the Wall of Separation strong. Please read below to learn more about the Iowa Secularists.
To create a community of persons who believe that the truths of the world can be found through logic, reason and science, and who reject religion, mysticism and superstition as a means of explaining the world around us.
To make positive contributions to our communities through service and involvement in order to reflect and expand secularists’ positive influence to the community.
