- This summer, as usual, provided several pop/hip-hop/rock smashes that got everyone talking. I find it amusing that this summer’s core group all emphasized doing or being things that our mommas told us not to do/be – promiscuous, bossy, jealous (“Ring The Alarm”), etc. And we were even treated to a naughty update the cute little London Bridge song we loved as kids.
