NetHeaven, based in Saratoga Springs, is the oldest local Internet Service Provider in the 518 area code. Our focus is on small business and community service, and yes, we think they go well together. We provide Internet connection via dialup (including ISDN) from Albany through Saranac Lake and via SDSL in Saratoga Springs. We also provide static IP service to users anywhere via network tunnels.
We have an unusual approach to pricing. We do not distinguish between business and personal use. We bundle everything almost anyone ever wants into membership packages and sell them for less than if the services were bought separately. This makes our basic price higher than most, and that lets us offer a premium level of service. For example, we simply do not have busy signals.
Our Standard Membership sells for $30/mo or $300/yr. This includes 56k dialup with 125 hours/month access time, virtual server website, domain services (registration and DNS), toll-free access while traveling, static IP, two mailboxes, anonymous ftp site, subnet for home or office network, and toll-free support line. In short, it includes everything a person or small business needs to use the Internet and establish a web presence on it. It can be viewed as a dialup account that includes web hosting or as a web hosting account that includes dialup. The account may be shared by any number of people as long as only one dials in at a time.
