TechnoBiblio

Description

Mission

TechnoBiblio was originally created to be a resource where librarians could keep up on technology news. Since its first post in May 2003 the scope has expanded to include news and opinions that relate to technology and any part of the information science realm.

The collaborative design of TechnoBiblio is intended to bring to the blog more than one person's point of view. Feel free to comment on posts or send email through the contact link above, but please show respect for those same varied points of view.

CJ

Due to his inability to hit any pitch other than a fastball, Chris Jowaisas has spent the past 8 years as a librarian tinkering with technology. Emerging from the University of Michigan in 1995 with a Master’s degree in Information and Library Science, he worked the reference desk at academic libraries before joining the precursor to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 1997. Since then, he has worked on implementing the US Library Program that trained and supported public library staff in offering public access computing.
