Excessive Linking

Hi Ordinarychick, I'm glad to see you've joined our site and are supporting InventorSpot.com, however I have to ask you not to add a WikiLink to your site to other unrelated pages. We try to prevent meta-tagging and other "spammy" material at AbousUs and we would appreciate it if you would honor that commitment.

Hi Blake:

I tried finding an email for you but could not access it. I am a little confused. All I did was add us as a related website to websites in my category that have linked to us multiple times or exchanged links with. Is that considered spam or excessive linking? I don't wan't to do anything wrong but I would like to add our site to appropriate categories etc. Thanks for the guidance.

Thanks,

ordinary Chick

Hi Ordinary Chick,

I actually allowed the majority of your additions, however, there were several instances when the sites you edited appeared entirely unrelated to InventorSpot.com. As a general rule of thumb, if you are adding links to more than twenty sites, eyebrows start to raise. You can also utilize categories to get the word out about your business; visit AddCategory for more information. If you would like to contact me for further information, you can do so at User talk:Blake Hinckley or at . Hope that helps.

Sincerely,

Blake Hinckley
