About Editing Tags
Hi,
I'm unable to edit the "tag" or keywords that I originally chose for my article. I would to edit the list of tag words, but can remember how it's done. In addition, how do you link a tag to a photo and product description on AboutUs? Can you please help?
Thanks, Rudy User:Teaandwares
website title not working?
hi i have just tried to set up a page for my website - ChristopherChalets.co.uk when I did it, the www went away but now the link in the title cant find my web site and I'm not sure how to change it! Sorry to be a pain! Thanks, Victoria
- Hi Victoria. This is a larger problem than just AboutUs. The problem is that your web server doesn't recognize your domain without the www, which is a bug on your end. See this link [1] for domain tools and you'll see that they think your domain isn't resolving, just as we find with http://ChristopherChalets.co.uk - maybe talk with your web folks to make sure that this works? - Nothing. You just won't get email from your watchlist or newsletter or stuff like that. TedErnst (talk) 15:15, 15 October 2008 (PDT)
Can old versions of a page be deleted from the page history?
Because I'm not too happy with some personal information of mine being on one of them. --beeurd 02:11, 17 October 2008 (PDT)
About www domain name
search function doesn't work with "www" domain name.
e.g.:
www.com ( site: http://www.com ) www.net ( site: http://www.net ) www.ne.jp ( site: http://www.ne.jp )
--Sin Onome 21:49, 20 October 2008 (PDT)
- Hello - we have no plans to correct this issue, thank you. :) --VartanSimonian
- Thanks for pointing it out though, it is an interesting corner case! Best, MarkDilley
Quotes in section titles
You can't have quotes in the title of a section, because then editing of that section fails. --User:VartanSimonian/Sig 15:48, 21 October 2008 (PDT)
Signatures and subst
It seems if you use a template in your signature, it is automatically substed - in my case I had to create a template inside of a template to get the template to actually be included.

Google Sites
It appears that these pages cannot be edited in aboutus. I would guess that https prevents aboutus from finding the site. Any thoughts on this? -- George Campbell
- Not sure what you mean, George. Could you give us a link to the page you're trying to edit? -- TedErnst (talk) 16:16, 30 October 2008 (PDT)
tried to list my site in aboutus.org
I had tried to add my site in aboutus.org but it returned to me as its not able to find the domain i entered.
My portal domain is medicalportal.asia and you can see its working fine..
kindly advise me how to solve this problem
- It seems our bot doesn't recognize .asia yet. Sorry about that. You can use this link to manually create the page. -- TedErnst (talk) 09:13, 15 November 2008 (PST)
Can't Edit Website Details
I have enrolled as a member and having edited various aspects of the information for the website I am responsible for, I can't save the edited version.
An unreadable response is received that neither Int Expl or Safari can display and the edit does not take place.
Please advise.

How comes this?
The crawler seems to add every claim in a website's meta tags as category without any checking. There are TONS of domain grabbers, I went through Category:Internet_Search_Engine and removed something like 90% of all the entries because it were all domain grabber sites with tons of wrong keywords in their meta tags.
Many of those parked domains are pretty similar (check on Category:Parked_domains). There should at least be a basic detection for them and probably the bot should only add meta keywords as categories which are in the site text. Isn't it clear that a lot of sites cheat on this?
Or maybe add only the first five keywords. Or probably none and leave the sorting work to the users, as in the current state, it just seems to trash the whole categories and make them nearly entirely useless. And that's sad.
